Accessibility

A PDF tool should work for more people.

PrivatePDF is designed toward WCAG 2.2 AA with keyboard, touch, zoom, contrast, and assistive technology considered in the core workflow—not added as an afterthought.

01

Keyboard and touch

Every primary action is reachable without dragging. File order has move-up and move-down controls, touch targets are sized for fingers, and focus remains visible.

02

Status and errors

Progress uses real operation stages, completion is announced as status, and critical errors use clear recovery language. Color is never the only status signal.

03

Reflow and motion

The interface supports narrow mobile layouts from 320 CSS pixels, text zoom, reduced-motion preferences, and both light and dark schemes.

04

Continuous improvement

Automated checks are useful but incomplete. Real keyboard and screen-reader testing remains part of the product roadmap. Accessibility feedback is treated as a product bug, not a special request.
